Named after a former football player.
Also a dedi for a great photographer friend Jean who shares such marvelous photos of his homeland, animals and insects.
I took this photo with my camera phone about 4 months ago, 100% as is, no cropping just framed best as I could.
Also countless thanks for your prayers and well wishes for my dearest mom.
She is doing ok and glad her issue was not life threatening.
Something to do with excessive salt intake, too much soda and not enough water.
Her doctor said she caught her reaction due to Thanksgiving dinner which spun her down. They had about 7 other patients with similar symptoms. She got some medicine for help. And needs to stay away from salty foods much less soda and large amounts of water.
She still is dizzy and difficult to walk for now. Thanks again for thinking of us. Steve

very good macro and insect
that is great that the doctor found the cause. I do not like salt on my food. I am always concerned about being too low

The evolution of species to survive and thrive in their specific environments is such a wondrous process...Great capture of this strange little critter, Steve. Glad your Mom health situation is improving...there's way too much salt/sodium in western diets...

I came across this insect before. Actually picked it up. Fascinating what Nature creates.
