Description
A character for my players to interact with, once they reach a town. He's going to just sort of pop up all sorts of places, I think. A merchant. Also, I'm giving the 7x9 format a try for a while. Usually i set it to 6x9.
Going to keep this one short. I've been working a lot of this game because I've got the player's interest, and I haven't had time to sit down just to do something that's purely artistic. Not that this isn't artistic, just that I'm sure folks might get tired of seeing all the steampunk/fantasy-themed renders.
I had a bit of bad news, with my house guest delaying her arrival to an undetermined date, so I'm a bit bummed out. This news came just as seasonal depression hit its peak. Really, anything artistic I do right now is bound to be a bit bland, but by golly, I'm going to keep my skill as sharp as I can!

Thanks! I just got a g2 character converted to g8, and am rendering her new portrait. That was an interesting process. Sadly, you can't convert the mat, or rather there doesn't seem to be a way to add G2 UVs to G8 characters. So I ended up having to redo her skin, though I have to say the end result is quite nice.
I look forward to my friend coming to stay, but it's a move across country, so I'm trying to keep on the positive in knowing that she hasn't canceled completely. Just delaying it for now. Though I was really looking forward to taking the trip out to get her.

A very interesting outfit and unusual choice of pipe color. He keeps being a bit surprising.
