The sound of rushing air signaled the return of Cloudripper. Everyone looked up, he was descending fast and heading directly towards them! In his talons he grasped the cart where NarieFah had hidden the dragon egg (but the harness and Ork beast were no longer attached). Certain the cart and dragon was about to crash into them, NarieFah instinctively reacted and press herself into the tower wall for some protection. At the last possible moment Cloudripper stretched out his massive wings and with one powerful flap he halted his descent, softly dropping the cart next to the tower before coming to a landing near by.
Throughout all this Caleya had remained calmly standing and showing no sign of being afraid. The dragon Aurora was discreetly watching her and was again impressed by the temperament of this Elven warrior.
Dirt and debris kicked up by Cloudripper's landing was swirling around them, Caleya waited for it to settled and then reached out her hand to help NarieFah stand. Addressing her she said, "NarieFah..., Courier. You are the first courier of a dragon egg since the time of our ancestors. It is now time to return the egg which has been entrusted into your keeping."
I never officially ended the Fallen Tower series so from time to time I'll continue the story - I hope you will enjoy it.

The biggest downside for that poor egg getting dropped is the big downside =P and don't let the green dragons' cuteness fool you, they can turn your innards into outwards.
Great story and a wonderful illustration.Truly outstanding work!

Very nice sequel. Such a move could certainly use many. After all, you do not have to climb the stairs then. LOL Fantastic made. I'm curious if there will soon be a dragon child in the story.
