Description
Admittedly it's not the most interesting subject matter...but i like it....still lots of room for improvement and refinement Done to improve my skill set and understanding.. it's my best attempt to date....

Beeeeeaaaasuuuutiful!!! I love Bees and yours looks really like one (I see often wasps declared as bees in the 3d community although I personally think the differences are tremendous an obvious) Wonderfully done!

Way too humble here, Steve. This is very compelling in the same way macro photography is very compelling. You get a closeup view of something you rarely get to see in this much detail. As to the modelling, wow... The texturing is stunning in its realism (particularly the furry bits), and the articulation in the figure is amazing. You have every reason to be very very proud of this. :)

i am all about the plight that the honeybees of today are facing, so it actually IS a very interesting subject matter. i am utterly tickled by this model as i am heavily into insects themselves, and the bestest bit for me are his legs and feet, esp. the feet, as that has been done with a-maz-ing accuracy. the next challenge for you is to add some pollen to him... hehe...

That's some amazing work, the tiny hairs are super fine! Also the fun thing is you can now play with different body colors, neon blue anyone, lol... 🌟
